Welcome to Germantown Family Medicine, where Board Certified family physician Dr. Krisell Fedrizzi provides compassionate, personalized health and wellness care to patients of all ages.

In addition to patient-centered primary care, we specialize in women’s wellness; we also have extensive experience in caring for those with diabetes, hypertension and lipid disorders.

New patients are always welcome; most major insurance plans are accepted.

Originally from New York, Dr. Krisell Fedrizzi received her degree from the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine, and performed her residency at Michigan Osteopathic Medical Center. She is Board Certified and licensed to practice medicine in Ohio and Michigan, and has been serving patients in the Dayton area since 1989. A skilled musician, Dr. Fedrizzi feels being an accomplished classical pianist helps her in providing OMT (osteopathic manipulative treatment) to her patients.

Dr. Fedrizzi is a member of the Ohio Osteopathic Association, the American Osteopathic Association, the American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians, and the National Osteopathic Foundation. She maintains hospital affiliations with Kettering Medical Center, Sycamore Hospital, Southview Hospital and Grandview Hospital and Medical Center.

Please welcome the newest member of our professional staff, Certified Nurse Practitioner Krista Ables. With an approach that stresses both care and cure, Krista provides treatment of illness and injuries, disease prevention, diagnosing and treating acute and chronic conditions, and annual wellness visits.

As a nurse practitioner, Krista also plays an important role in counseling our patients on ways to better manage their own health to help assure long-term wellness.

At Germantown Family Medicine our goal is to continue to improve the health and wellness of all our patients.

We measure our progress by tracking the care and treatment of groups of patients who are at risk for common or chronic conditions — here are some important at-risk factors that we carefully monitor:

Blood Pressure Control
Patients 18 to 59 years of age with hypertension whose blood pressure is less than 140/90.

          2018:  96%                  2017:  96%

Diabetes: Controlling Cholesterol
Patients 18 to 75 years of age with diabetes whose most recent LDL-C value is less than 130 mg/dl.

          2018:  87%                  2017:  93%

Flu Vaccinations
Patients 18 to 64 years of age who received an influenza vaccination during the measurement period.

          2018:  47%                  2017:  52%
